Walter Cronkite was truly a phenomenon. No words can be sufficient to describe the legend. I was truly impressed by the larger-than life journalist. I am not the first one nor the last one to say it. The media is filled with coverage and perhaps with a lot of material. I just thought it befitting to pay our tributes to the great guy. Unfortunately, he was side lined many years before as if exiled.

There are great many examples where we do not extend the best respects in the life time though of a great guy but miss him more when he is finally gone. This happened, a few days back for MJ and now for this legend.

Carrie Prejean has got so much of publicity that she does not require a crown! Carrie Prejean has gained the identity credentials that she would be recognized where ever she goes!

The question is whether this is good or not so good? Whereas Carrie Prejean has become a role model or spokesperson for a stance, does she really have a good chance of winning her argument or she would flame the controversy?

As a beauty, she was supposed not to get into controversies and may be she would have won some lucrative contracts. She has choosen to stand for “her values” and that may cost her in more than directly.

Carrie Prejean needs to brand her ideas so that she can best use the identity. In working with that objective, perhaps, she can carry her ideas on other subjects to the forums that may be important to her rather than making appearances for the same topic. The media needs content and she is providing them. The media will stop her coverage as soon as it is realized that people are bored by the repetitive play of the same material. If Carrie Prejean manages herself, intelligently, she does not require a crown.

Celebrity Apprentice Finale ended today with Joan declared the winner with Annie Duke contesting it, fiercely.  Interesting ridicules were at play.  To my mind, it was so rightly decided that Joan is the winner.  Joan at 75 showed remarkable resilience, and prevented Annie’s domination to come back to win the competition.  Normally, at her age, Joan should not have made it even to the final.

The celebrity apprentice program has been drawing a lot of interest, and I was wondering whether its organizes would move to more current problems and present a challenge completion, which would be about managing a situation such as producing a more fuel efficient engine, solving the gas price hikes, or producing solution to problems such as job creations or even about managing state budgets.  It is an interesting program, and it would be even more interesting if they can bring up the challenging current affairs, and let Donald Trump fire the people based on objectivity.

The success of the program has basically been  made around “You are fired!” concept, but there is a lot that can be learnt by those striving to make achievements in life.  Besides knowing the facts that life is very very competitive and you have to be at your best on everyday basis.  I congratulate the organizes for making this a success.

I have always believed that one can blog about your thoughts. I came across www.auto-insurance-home.com which is pleasantly surprising. It is different in the sense that the whole site / blog is devoted to insurance.

It would be interesting to see how far the author goes but a simple expression, so far, wins my vote.  A post relating to why people buy life insurance discusses simple facts or reasons. I am more interested in seeing some new stuff or details about insurance. For now I have book marked the site because I want to learn about insurance and save some money on insurance premium.

At age 47, she stole the show on April 11, 2009 at reality TV show called “Britains’ Got Talent”. Most had written her off but she completed her performance and wowed the judges, including Simon Cowell. She made Simon smile!
